Add the server

Create .vscode/mcp.json in the workspace:

Or add it for your user profile from the command line:

code --add-mcp "{\"name\":\"fincept\",\"type\":\"http\",\"url\":\"https://enterprise.fincept.in/mcp\"}"

Start the server from mcp.json (or the MCP: List Servers command). VS Code asks to sign in; approve the connection on fincept.in.

Use it

Open Copilot Chat in Agent mode. Fincept tools appear in the tools picker.
