Add the server

Add fincept to ~/.cursor/mcp.json for every project, or to .cursor/mcp.json in one repository:

Sign in

Open Cursor’s MCP settings. fincept shows that it needs a login; start it and approve the connection on fincept.in. Cursor receives the sign-in through its own cursor:// callback.

Use it

Ask in Agent mode, for example: “Using Fincept, compare the 1-year returns of SPY and QQQ.”
