# Deals

> M&A deals, comparable-company builds, private placements, private raises and private credit.

Toolset `deals`: 19 tools. List them all with `?toolsets=deals`, or let the agent find them with `fincept_search_tools`. Full descriptions and input schemas: `fincept_describe_tool`.

| `deals_list_deals` | M\&A deals extracted from SEC filings (newest announced first by default): deal\_id, target and acquirer (cik, name, tickers), announced, status, deal\_type, consideration\_type, offer\_per\_share, equity\_value, enterprise\_value, premium\_pct. | Read |
| `deals_search` | One lookup over the M\&A index: matching deals and matching SEC companies (cik, name, tickers, sic\_description, has\_fundamentals). | Read |

**Type:** Read tools only read. Write tools change your account; Delete tools remove something from it. `core` tools are listed by default. `credits` tools can spend credits; see [credits](/reference/toolsets/credits).
