# Math transforms and operators

> Element-wise arccosine, arcsine, arctangent, ceiling, cosine, hyperbolic cosine, exponential, floor, natural and base-10 logarithm, sine, hyperbolic sine, square root, tangent and hyperbolic tangent; addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of two series; cumulative sum; rolling sum, highest, lowest, both, and the bar positions of the highest and lowest.

Toolset `ta_math`: 2 tools.

| Tool | What it does | Notes |
| - | - | - |
| `ta_math_transform` | An element-wise math function of the closes (or source, or one series): the transformed series aligned to the dates with a line chart. | |
| `ta_math_operator` | Arithmetic on two series (a spread with SUB, a ratio with DIV) or a rolling sum, extreme or extreme's position on one: the result aligned to the dates with a line chart. | |
