# Company fundamentals

> Financial statements, earnings against estimates, dividend history and revenue segments per company.

Toolset `scan_fundamentals`: 4 tools.

| Tool | What it does | Notes |

| `scan_financials` | Returns a company's income statement, balance sheet, cash flow or statistics (valuation, margins, returns, per-share and bank ratios), newest period first, by fiscal year, half, quarter or trailing twelve months: every line the company reports in raw reporting-currency units, with the latest value of each line. `statement: "all"` returns the four statements with earnings, dividends and revenue segments in one request. | |
| `scan_earnings` | Returns reported EPS against the consensus estimate with the surprise in percent, and reported revenue against its estimate, by quarter or fiscal year, newest first. | |
| `scan_dividends` | Returns a company's dividend payments, newest first (amount per share, ex, record and payment dates, kind), with the recent yield, the TTM payout ratio and dividends paid. | |
| `scan_segments` | Returns a company's annual revenue by business line and by country or region, newest year first. | |
