# Claude Code

> Add Fincept MCP to Claude Code and sign in.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Add the server">
    ```bash theme={"dark"}
    claude mcp add --transport http --scope user fincept https://enterprise.fincept.in/mcp
    ```

    `--scope user` makes the server available in every project. Use `--scope project` to share it through the repository's `.mcp.json`, or omit the flag for the current project only.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Sign in">
    Start Claude Code, run `/mcp`, select `fincept` and choose **Authenticate**. Approve the connection on fincept.in.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Check">
    ```bash theme={"dark"}
    claude mcp list
    ```

    `fincept` shows as connected.
  </Step>
</Steps>

## List more tools up front

The default listing is the core set plus the discovery tools. To list whole toolsets, add them to the URL:

```bash theme={"dark"}
claude mcp add --transport http --scope user fincept "https://enterprise.fincept.in/mcp?toolsets=market,stats_tsa_models"
```

See [finding tools](/guides/finding-tools) for the trade-off.

## Remove

```bash theme={"dark"}
claude mcp remove fincept --scope user
```

Removing the server does not revoke its sign-in on Fincept. See [authentication](/guides/authentication#revoke-access).
