# Target Return Portfolio

> Constructs a portfolio that achieves a specified target return with minimum variance. This optimization finds the point on the efficient frontier corresponding to your desired return level.

**Use Cases:**
- Meeting specific return objectives (e.g., pension fund liability matching)
- Creating portfolios for different risk tolerance levels
- Implementing goal-based investment strategies
- Constructing efficient frontier points

**Mathematical Background:**
Minimizes: w^T Σ w
Subject to: w^T μ = target_return, Σw_i = 1, and optional constraints

Where μ is the expected return vector.

**Credits:** 5 per request [Tier: PRO, Credits: 5]

portfolio construction, analysis, and monitoring. Includes mean-variance
optimization, Black-Litterman, risk parity, and comprehensive risk metrics.

**Tier:** Pro (5 credits per request)

    **Key Features:**

    - Mean-variance optimization (minimum variance, maximum Sharpe, target
    return)

    - Efficient frontier construction with tangency portfolio identification

    - Black-Litterman model for Bayesian view incorporation

    - Risk parity strategies (ERC, HRP, inverse volatility)

    - Comprehensive risk metrics (VaR, CVaR, tracking error, information ratio)

    - Advanced portfolio analytics (risk contribution, drawdown,
    diversification)
